It is in our DNA, to express ourselves and explore the universe. The synergy between the arts and sciences is often under appreciated. My vision for this StudioLab is to provide a virtual exchange for artfully minded scientists and scientifically minded artists to share ideas. 

As a child I was encouraged to express my creative talents while exploring nature. In high school, I was selected to participate in an experimental creative track while completing my college prep-studies. My undergraduate work comprised of a cross-disciplinary BA in Studio Fine Art and Biology. My senior year allowed me to participate as an intern in the Medical Arts Department of the Newark VA. More importantly, Upsala College provided me with my own lab where I was able to turn my biology studies into art. Continuing in these studies, while working for a surgeon, I conducted my Masters work in non-silver printing at Montclair University specializing in life size human anatomy alongside multi framed images shot with a view master camera.

Throughout my life, people have commented on the unique combination of my studies and the path of my profession in life sciences and healthcare marketing and communications.
